How do I change the owner of my account?

Changing your account ownership is a simple process.

All MxToolbox users are associated with an email address. As such, we typically lock the user to the email address and do not allow modification.

Free Accounts

Modifying the email address is not possible. Simply create a new account with your preferred email address, set up your free monitor, and delete the original account with the old email address.

Paid Accounts

Paid accounts may have five (5) or more users, but typically only one Owner role. To change the Owner:

  1. Log in to the Owner role in the Account page.

  2. If the user you wish to make Owner is not present, invite the user to the account and complete all of the authentication steps to finalize the user creation.
  3. Open a Support Ticket and request a change of Ownership.
