  3. Your tag has now been successfully added to your monitor.

Note: Monitors can have multiple tags.

Setting Up a Notification Policy Based on a Tag

Notification policies allow you to have a notification sent based on all of the monitors associated with a single tag. This feature is great if you have multiple teams and each team only wants to be alerted to specific monitors that matter to them.

To set this up, access the Notifications page and select the notification policy you want to send only alerts.

Note: Before doing this, make sure your tag has been added to the monitors you want to get alerts on or do not want to get alerts on.

  1. In the Alert Group Tags section, select Send alerts with specific tags.
  2. In the new input field that appears, start typing the name of the tag you want to add.

  3. This policy will send a notification for any monitor that you have made part of that tag.
